Alttext AI Automation is a Claude Code skill that automates alt-text generation for images via Alttext AI, routed through Composio's toolkit over Rube MCP. Reach for it when you need to bulk-add alternative text to hundreds of site images for accessibility compliance or SEO, when filling alt attributes by hand is eating hours, or when you want to bake image description generation into an automated content publishing pipeline. The skill runs on top of Rube MCP: point Claude at `https://rube.app/mcp` as an MCP server — no separate API keys required. The workflow always starts with `RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS` to fetch current tool schemas (they can change), then `RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS` to confirm the `alttext_ai` toolkit connection is ACTIVE, and finally `RUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOL` with the discovered slugs. Bulk operations go through `RUBE_REMOTE_WORKBENCH`. The direction is generating textual descriptions for images, not general image classification or visual analysis (use other tools for that). Works well for teams addressing WCAG alt-text requirements or improving image search indexing; not applicable without an active Alttext AI account and a configured Rube MCP connection.
