Amara automation is a Claude Code skill that automates Amara platform operations through the Composio Amara toolkit accessed via Rube MCP, eliminating the need to manually call APIs or manage credentials. Reach for it when you need to programmatically handle subtitle uploads and multilingual video translations at scale, when manually assigning subtitle tasks to language teams has become a bottleneck, or when you want to plug Amara localization into a larger automated content pipeline. The workflow follows a fixed pattern: call RUBE_SEARCH_TOOLS first to retrieve current tool schemas, then RUBE_MANAGE_CONNECTIONS to activate the Amara connection, then RUBE_MULTI_EXECUTE_TOOL with the discovered slugs. Bulk operations are handled via RUBE_REMOTE_WORKBENCH. Setup requires only adding https://rube.app/mcp as an MCP server endpoint — no API keys needed. The skill is scoped to managing subtitles and translations on the Amara platform, not to transcribing audio or auto-generating captions from scratch (for that, look for speech-to-text tools).
