baoyu-translate is a Claude Code skill that translates content between languages in three modes: quick (direct translation), normal (analyze then translate), and refined (analyze → translate → review → polish for publication quality). On first use it runs a blocking setup wizard — asking for target language, mode, audience, and style — and saves preferences to EXTEND.md, which also supports custom glossaries, chunk thresholds, and nine style presets ranging from storytelling to academic. Long documents are handled automatically via TypeScript scripts (main.ts and chunk.ts) run through bun or npx, splitting content into chunks when the word count exceeds 4000. The skill suits anyone localizing articles, blog posts, technical docs, or publication-ready materials across Chinese, English, and other languages.
