esm is a Claude Code skill that enables direct use of the ESM Python SDK, ESM3 and ESMC model IDs, Forge/Biohub inference clients, and ESMFold2 all-atom structure prediction workflows. It covers the full range of computational protein biology tasks: generating novel sequences with desired properties via ESM3's multimodal generative modeling, inverse folding to design sequences from target structures, extracting high-quality embeddings with ESMC for classification and similarity search, and function-conditioned generation using FunctionAnnotation. Multi-step chain-of-thought refinement and async batch processing through the Forge API are also supported. The skill is intended for researchers and engineers working on protein design, structure prediction, and machine learning on biological sequence data.
