incoming-request-advisor is a Claude Code skill that decodes an incoming message into a structured breakdown, separating the literal ask from the job-to-be-done beneath it before you type a single word in reply. It reads sender power and stake — whether they sit upstream, peer-level, or downstream — and keeps success criteria distinct from must-haves, a conflation that causes PMs to build the wrong thing fast. The breakdown scales to the message: up to twelve sections are available, but the skill collapses or skips empty ones so a one-line Slack ping stays a one-line read, not a twelve-section report.
