kanban-video-orchestrator is a Claude Code skill that plans and runs multi-agent video production pipelines through a Hermes Kanban board. The skill itself renders nothing — it decomposes a video request, from a 15-second product teaser to a 5-minute narrative short or music video, into specialized agent profiles, generates a setup script that creates the project workspace, Hermes profiles with per-profile SOUL.md, and fires the initial kanban task. Actual rendering happens inside the kanban via whichever skills fit the scenes: ascii-video, manim-video, p5js, comfyui, touchdesigner-mcp, songwriting-and-ai-music, or plain Python with PIL and ffmpeg. The six-stage workflow — DISCOVER → BRIEF → TEAM DESIGN → SETUP → EXECUTE → MONITOR — uses adaptive intake questions, a confirmed brief.md as the downstream contract, and live monitoring via hermes kanban watch. For simple one-shot tasks like converting an mp4 to a GIF, using ffmpeg directly is recommended instead.
