merger-model

merger-model is a Claude Code skill that builds M&A accretion/dilution workbooks in Excel using headless openpyxl. It covers the full workflow: deal input gathering, purchase price and Sources & Uses analysis, pro forma EPS for Years 1–3 in both GAAP and adjusted form, purchase price allocation with intangible amortization, two-way sensitivity tables across synergy levels and offer premium or cash/stock mix, and a breakeven synergies calculation. The output is a multi-tab .xlsx file with assumptions, pro forma income statement, accretion/dilution summary, and sensitivity tables, plus a one-page merger consequences summary for a pitch book. Designed for investment banking analysts evaluating a potential acquisition or advising on deal terms.
