paper-poster is a deprecated Claude Code skill kept solely as a redirect for muscle memory and should not be used for new posters. It has been superseded by /paper-poster-html because the original LaTeX/tcbposter pipeline produced posters with unbounded color palettes, no print-canvas size verification, and no real paper figures. When invoked, the skill immediately forwards all user arguments to /paper-poster-html without modification. The legacy implementation remains accessible in git history (`git log -- skills/paper-poster/SKILL.md`) in case a venue ever mandates LaTeX poster source files — though no such case is currently known.
