paper-slides is a Claude Code skill that generates conference presentation slides from a compiled research paper, producing both a beamer LaTeX PDF and an editable PPTX complete with speaker notes and a full talk script. It supports four talk formats — poster-talk (3–5 min, 5–8 slides), spotlight (5–8 min, 8–12 slides), oral (15–20 min, 15–22 slides), and invited (30–45 min, up to 40 slides) — automatically adjusting slide count to match the target duration. Built-in color schemes cover NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, AAAI, ACL, EMNLP, CVPR, and ECCV. The skill reads from paper/ and writes to slides/, runs after /paper-writing, and sends the draft through a Codex MCP reviewer for quality checks. Researchers who need to turn a finished paper into a conference talk quickly can specify the paper directory, talk type, and venue as arguments.
