prd-v03-pricing-model is a Claude Code skill that selects and validates a monetization model within the HORIZON workflow. It consumes competitive intelligence (CFD- entries) and product type classifications (BR- entries) from v0.2, then applies a Product Type × Pricing Model matrix, calculates the SMB Penalty for per-user competitors, and builds competitive price anchors. Outputs include BR-PRC-* entries for price floors and ceilings, BR-PKG-* entries for tier boundaries and feature gates, and BR-CMP-* entries for undercut thresholds — each with a confidence score of 2–3/5 and an explicit evidence source. The skill is designed for startups deciding how much to charge, choosing between subscription, usage-based, and flat-rate models, or structuring pricing tiers with defensible, evidence-backed reasoning.
