prd-v05-technical-stack-selection is a Claude Code skill that drives technology decisions across every product capability layer during the PRD v0.5 phase. It consumes FEA- (feature), SCR- (screen), and RISK- (constraint) entries to evaluate what to reuse, extend, buy, integrate, or build from scratch — covering both greenfield and brownfield contexts. Each decision is recorded as a TECH- entry with a category (Reuse/Extend/New/Replace/Build/Buy/Integrate/Research), references to the relevant FEA- and RISK- entries, rationale, trade-offs, and cost estimates at MVP stage and 10x scale. The skill also produces a Risk-to-Technology mapping table and a technical feasibility artifact. Output feeds directly into the v0.6 Architecture Design step.
