prd-v08-monitoring-setup is a Claude Code skill that defines the monitoring strategy during PRD v0.8 (Deployment & Ops): it specifies metrics, alert thresholds, and SLOs, then produces MON-* entries — concrete specifications with data sources, trigger conditions, notification routing, and dashboard configurations. Three execution modes are available: quick covers RED metrics on the critical path with 3–5 alerts linked to runbooks; standard adds USE coverage, SLOs for tier-1 services, and audience-specific dashboards; deep layers RED, USE, business, and UX signals with multi-tier SLOs, error budgets, staging-calibrated baselines, and escalation routing.
