respond-to-eval is a Claude Code skill that turns a semester's course evaluations — free-text comments and numeric scale items — into a defensible teaching-improvement plan, serving as the pedagogical analogue of /respond-to-referees. It clusters student feedback into named themes, weights each theme by how many distinct students raised it, and assigns every theme one of four action labels: Keep, Change, Investigate, or Out-of-scope. Concrete changes are mapped directly to syllabus sections or specific lecture slides, not left as vague intentions. The skill accepts CSV/TSV exports, plain-text or Markdown comment files, and PDF/DOCX reports, and can diff against a prior improvement plan to track whether last term's revisions actually landed. It fits end-of-semester review, mid-term pulse checks, and tenure dossier preparation — any situation where structured, documented reasoning about student feedback matters.
