resume_handoff is a Claude Code skill that resumes project work from a handoff document with full context analysis and current-state validation. It accepts either a direct path to a handoff file or a ticket number in the ENG-XXXX format — when a ticket is provided, it locates the most recent document inside `thoughts/shared/handoffs/ENG-XXXX/` using the `YYYY-MM-DD_HH-MM-SS` timestamp in the filename. The skill reads the handoff document in full, then loads linked plans and research from `thoughts/shared/plans` and `thoughts/shared/research` directly without spawning sub-agents for those critical files. It then presents a structured analysis covering task statuses, validated learnings, recent changes, reviewed artifacts, and prioritized next actions — and confirms the approach with the user before proceeding. Ideal for teams running long-running or parallel work sessions who need reliable context continuity across Claude Code sessions.
