review-paper is a Claude Code skill that performs comprehensive academic manuscript review in three modes: single-pass (default), an iterative critic-fixer loop of up to five rounds (`--adversarial`), and a simulated journal peer-review pipeline with an editor plus two dispositioned referees (`--peer <journal>`). The `--peer` mode supports R&R continuation via `--r2`/`--r3`, a hostile-editor stress test (`--stress`), and reviewer-disposition variance reporting (`--variance N`) that produces a decision distribution rather than a point estimate. Referees are drawn from a six-way disposition taxonomy (STRUCTURAL, CREDIBILITY, MEASUREMENT, POLICY, THEORY, SKEPTIC) calibrated to a target journal profile. The skill auto-invokes `/review-r` and `/audit-reproducibility` on any scripts referenced in the manuscript unless `--no-cross-artifact` is set. It is aimed at researchers and PhD students preparing a submission, navigating a revise-and-resubmit round, or stress-testing a draft before choosing a target journal.
