Simplebackups is a Claude Code skill that connects the agent to SimpleBackups via Membrane CLI, enabling automated backup management for databases, servers, and websites. It covers the full SimpleBackups data model — Backup, Snapshot, Cron Job, Monitoring, Team, User, and Profile — with natural-language action search, parameterized action execution, and direct proxy requests to the SimpleBackups API. Membrane handles OAuth authentication and transparent credential refresh automatically, so setup is limited to installing the CLI (`npm install -g @membranehq/cli@latest`) and running `membrane login`. Developers and system administrators can use the skill to schedule backups, check backup status, or manage team members without leaving their agent environment. Network access and a Membrane account are required; the free tier is supported.
