sleap is a Claude Code skill that assists with development and support work on SLEAP, an open-source deep-learning framework for multi-animal pose tracking published in Nature Methods in 2022. The skill provides four specialized modes: investigation (bug investigation), pr (pull request workflows), qt-testing (Qt GUI testing), and sleap-support (user support). SLEAP itself supports single- and multi-animal pose estimation with top-down and bottom-up strategies, GPU training in 15–60 minutes, inference at up to 600+ FPS, and two independent backends — sleap-nn and sleap-io. This skill is built for contributors and maintainers who develop the SLEAP codebase or help users troubleshoot pose tracking pipelines.
