Stein is a Claude Code skill that connects Claude to Stein, a low-code platform for building web apps and internal tools backed by spreadsheets as a database. Using the Membrane CLI, the skill lets you manage Stein data — worksheets, rows, columns, and views — by discovering actions with natural-language queries and running them with typed input parameters. When built-in actions fall short, you can send requests directly to the Stein API through Membrane's proxy, which handles authentication and transparent credential refresh automatically. It suits both developers and non-technical users who need to read or update spreadsheet-based data without writing backend code. Requires network access and a Membrane account (free tier supported).
