story-review is a Claude Code skill that runs a multi-perspective adversarial review of novel text, examining plot structure, character design, world-building consistency, dialogue quality, and prose naturalness. In full mode it spawns four specialized agents in parallel — story-architect, character-designer, narrative-writer, and consistency-checker — while lean mode uses only story-architect and consistency-checker; both modes automatically fall back to solo when agents are missing, malformed, or spawn fails. A built-in rubric fallback covers conflict progression, character motivation, sentence rhythm, punctuation, and AI-style detection even when reference files are unavailable. The skill is built for web-fiction authors who need an actionable chapter critique focused on finding problems, not validating what is already written.
