story-setup is a Claude Code skill that deploys the foundational infrastructure for 网文 (web novel) writing toolsets into a user's project directory. It ships with built-in adapters for six CLI environments — Claude Code, OpenCode, Codex, ZCode, OpenClaw, and Reasonix — and a generic fallback mode for Web AI and custom agents via SKILLS and AGENTS.md file patterns. Triggered by /story-setup, $story-setup, or natural-language phrases like 「准备写书」, the skill first validates that all eight required subdirectories under references/ and two merge scripts are present, then auto-detects the active environment and deploys hooks, agents, rules, and config files without overwriting any existing user configuration. Version 1.2.7 tracks deployment state through a .story-deployed sentinel file and supports fully idempotent re-runs.
