syllabus is a Claude Code skill that turns a bare topic list or reading list into a complete, teachable course syllabus. It works in three phases: resolving intake parameters (audience level, term length, cadence, and source material), sequencing topics by dependency into a week-by-week schedule with readings and deliverables, then drafting measurable learning objectives and an assessment scheme with a rubric for the highest-stakes assignment. The output file `syllabus.md` covers course description, prerequisites, the full schedule, standard policies (late work, AI use, academic integrity, accessibility), and a week-to-lecture work-list ready to pass directly to `/create-lecture`. Flags include `--weeks`, `--level phd|grad|undergrad`, `--sessions-per-week`, and `--no-policies`. Built with economics sequences in mind — PhD metrics, micro, macro, field courses, undergraduate — but generic enough for any field.
