Taxjar is a Claude Code skill that connects Claude to TaxJar for automating sales tax operations in online stores via the Membrane CLI. It covers more than 20 operations across Tax Calculation, US Sales Tax Nexus, Customer management, and Reporting — including calculating order tax, creating or deleting nexus locations, managing customer records, and handling sales transactions and refunds end-to-end. Authentication and credential refresh are managed automatically by Membrane, so setup requires only a single `membrane connection ensure` call before working with the API. The skill is aimed at e-commerce developers who need multi-state sales tax compliance or need to pull summary sales tax reports programmatically. For edge cases not covered by built-in actions, direct TaxJar API calls are available through Membrane's authenticated proxy.
