think is a Claude Code skill that applies a 10-stage loop — OBSERVE×2, LISTEN, THINK, CONNECT×2, FEEL, ACCEPT, CREATE, GROW — to consequential, ambiguous, or high-stakes reasoning. Before the loop, it establishes an evidence frame that separates observed facts, inferences, unknowns, and preferences, requiring concrete citations when sources exist. Each stage has a distinct role: the two OBSERVE stages surface cognitive biases and calibrate confidence; THINK reduces the problem to invariants, tradeoffs, and failure modes; CONNECT traces both lateral analogies and system-level integration paths; ACCEPT demands the strongest reasonable counterargument to the preferred conclusion. The skill is strictly read-only — it never edits files, commits to Git, or publishes anything; any change recommended in CREATE requires a separate mutation skill and explicit user authorization. Use it for postmortems, architecture reviews, tradeoff analysis, and assumption challenges.
