Tonic is a Claude Code skill that connects Claude to Tonic, a data de-identification and anonymization platform used to generate safe, realistic data for development and testing environments. Through the Membrane CLI, it manages workspaces, database connections, destinations, masking tasks, table configurations, and virtual databases — with authentication and credential refresh handled automatically. Actions are discoverable via natural language search using `membrane action list`, and for cases not covered by pre-built actions, the `membrane request` proxy sends authenticated calls directly to the Tonic API. Ideal for data engineers and security teams automating the preparation of anonymized test datasets without writing custom auth logic.
