Unstructured is a Claude Code skill that connects Claude to the Unstructured document processing platform for extracting and handling data from unstructured file types such as PDFs and Word documents. It uses the Membrane CLI to run Partition, Layout, and Download operations, with authentication and credential refresh handled automatically. Actions can be discovered via natural language intent queries, and direct proxy requests to the Unstructured API are supported when built-in actions don't cover a specific use case. The skill is designed for data engineers and developers preparing raw documents for machine learning models or analytical pipelines. Network access and a Membrane account (free tier supported) are required.
