Upbooks is a Claude Code skill that connects your agent to UpBooks, a cloud-based accounting platform built for small business owners and freelancers. Using the Membrane CLI, it lets you read and modify UpBooks data — working with Books, Notes, and Accounts — by running actions via `membrane action run` or sending requests directly to the UpBooks API through Membrane's authenticated proxy when no pre-built action fits. Authentication and credential refresh are handled automatically, so setup requires only installing the CLI and completing a one-time browser login. It's the right tool for automating financial workflows such as expense tracking and ledger management without leaving your agent environment.
