Vanta is a Claude Code skill that connects to the Vanta compliance platform via the Membrane CLI, enabling agents to manage records and automate security workflows without handling authentication manually. It covers fifteen object types — Users, Tests, Findings, Controls, Evidence, Tasks, Access Requests, Vendors, Assessments, Trainings, Policies, Exceptions, Integrations, Groups, and Reports. Membrane handles credential refresh and pagination automatically; actions are discovered with `membrane action list --intent`, executed with `membrane action run`, and edge cases are covered by a built-in proxy that forwards requests directly to the Vanta API with injected auth headers. The skill is ideal for teams automating SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA compliance tasks from an AI agent. Requires a Membrane account (free tier supported) and network access.
