vc-generate-closeout is a Claude Code skill that produces a structured closeout packet at the end of an EXECUTE phase for a plan or project phase. The packet covers 9 required items: exact plan file path, archive-readiness classification, what was actually implemented, verification status, validate-contract compliance, remaining cleanup, the single best next valid state, a commit-checkpoint recommendation, regression status, and per-criterion SPEC achievement scoring. Two modes are available: Simple, which writes the packet from current conversation context, and Deep, which gathers evidence via git diff HEAD~1, git log, plan checklist cross-referencing, and validate-contract gate review before making any claims.
