Vectara is a Claude Code skill that connects the assistant to Vectara, a platform for building search and retrieval applications powered by neural networks. Using the Membrane CLI, the skill manages corpora and documents and runs queries — while Membrane handles authentication and credential refresh automatically, so there is no need to deal with auth plumbing. When built-in actions fall short, the skill can send requests directly to the Vectara API through Membrane's proxy, with authentication headers injected transparently. A Membrane account is required (free tier supported) along with network access. It suits developers who need to integrate semantic search over unstructured data or automate document and corpus workflows with Vectara.
