vellum-skills is a Claude Code skill that extends the Vellum personal AI assistant through installable plugins called Skills. Each skill is defined by a SKILL.md and a TOOLS.json file, adding new tools and prompt sections to the assistant at runtime inside the same sandbox that protects all Vellum operations. The Vellum Assistant itself supports eight memory types — episodic, semantic, procedural, emotional, prospective, behavioral, narrative, and shared — and never exposes credentials to the model. Skills can be installed from the catalog, bundled together, or dropped directly into the workspace. It is aimed at developers and power users who want to extend assistant capabilities without manually editing core configuration files.
