Vies Api is a Claude Code skill that connects an AI agent to the European Commission's VIES database for VAT number validation. It operates via the Membrane CLI, which handles authentication and transparent credential refresh automatically — the agent searches available actions by intent, runs them with the required parameters, and can fall back to direct proxy requests to the VIES API when built-in actions don't cover a specific case. The integration exposes two core objects: Request (a VAT validation request) and Response (company data or error information). Network access and a Membrane account (Free tier supported) are required.
