World News Api is a Claude Code skill that connects Claude Code to World News API via the Membrane CLI to search and retrieve news articles from around the world. It supports the News, Article, and Search endpoints, lets you run pre-built actions discovered with `membrane action list --intent=QUERY`, and falls back to direct proxy requests when built-in actions don't cover your use case — Membrane automatically appends the base URL and injects refreshed auth headers. Setup requires `npm install -g @membranehq/cli@latest`, a single login command, and `membrane connection ensure "https://worldnewsapi.com/"` to establish the connection. Aimed at developers who need to embed real-time news data into applications or automate news content workflows. Requires network access and a Membrane account (free tier supported); MIT license.
