Cloudreve is an open-source file storage system for your own server — a personal or team cloud accessed through the web. Reach for it when you want your own file storage with sharing but no lock-in to someone else's cloud and its pricing: exchanging files within a team, public links for clients, a personal archive. Its trait is that the data can live anywhere — on a local server, on remote nodes, in OneDrive, in S3-compatible storage — while Cloudreve gives one interface over all of it with folders, permissions and links. So it not so much stores files itself as unifies different backends into one convenient access point. It offers file previews, public and protected links, and per-user quotas.
