Hermes Agent is an open-source AI agent from NousResearch whose distinguishing feature is that it learns as it works. An ordinary agent starts every session from nothing; this one accumulates skills from its own experience, refines them on reuse, and gradually builds a picture of you — how you phrase tasks, what you prefer, what not to suggest. Reach for it when you work with an agent constantly and are tired of re-explaining context each time. It works with any model provider — Nous Portal, OpenRouter, OpenAI and your own endpoints — switching with a single command and no code changes, so you can compare models on your own tasks.
