InvoiceShelf is a self-hosted web app for invoicing and finance tracking for small businesses: create invoices, keep estimates, and track payments and expenses from one place while keeping your business data yourself. Reach for it when a freelancer or small company wants their own billing on their own server rather than a cloud service: send clients invoices, record payments, and keep history. It is a fork of Crater and deploys on your own hosting. Note: the 3.x branch is an alpha preview for testing — for production use the stable 2.x release. Its focus is self-hosted billing and bookkeeping for micro-businesses with data ownership, not full accounting/ERP or a CRM: if you want control over your own invoices and expenses without external SaaS, this is it. It is close in job to ezbookkeeping and TaxHacker.
