JoinCaptcha Bot is an open-source Telegram bot that protects groups from spam bots by verifying new members. Chat owners and admins reach for it when a group is flooded with automated advertising accounts: on joining, a newcomer is shown a simple check (a captcha), and until they pass it they cannot post — while those who fail are removed automatically. This cuts off the bulk of spam bots at the door, sparing admins manual cleanup. The check's type and difficulty, the time allowed and the actions against offenders are configurable.
