Tablecruncher is a very fast CSV editor for macOS, Windows, and Linux, built to open huge tables with ease. Reach for it when you need to open and fix a CSV that chokes ordinary editors and Excel: a multi-gigabyte file with millions of rows opens in seconds, and you can browse, edit, search, and work with the data without lag. Originally a commercial app (since 2017), it is now fully open source under GPL v3. Its focus is fast desktop viewing and editing of large CSVs, not a spreadsheet calculator with formulas or a BI tool: one job — working comfortably with massive flat data locally. It is useful to analysts, data engineers, and anyone who regularly receives large CSV exports they need to eyeball and tweak quickly.
