Calendar Agent is an n8n automation template in which an AI agent manages Google Calendar through a chat interface — creating, viewing, and modifying events based on plain-text user requests. Reach for it when you're tired of opening the calendar app just to reschedule a meeting, when you want to check today's schedule without switching between tools, or when you'd rather just type "move Monday's call to 3 pm" and have it done instantly. The workflow uses an n8n AI agent node that interprets free-form messages and translates them into Google Calendar API operations; it runs on any n8n instance, cloud or self-hosted. Trigger: chat message. Integrations: Google Calendar. The direction is conversational calendar control, not automated reminder broadcasts or parsing incoming emails to generate events. Works for anyone with an active n8n setup and a Google account with Calendar API access enabled; not suitable if your team runs on Outlook or another calendar provider.
