Candidate Intake is an n8n automation template that captures job applications from a form and stores candidate data in Google Sheets while sending an instant Slack notification. Reach for it when manually copying applicant submissions into a spreadsheet is slowing the team down, when recruiters need an immediate Slack ping every time a new application arrives, or when the inbox of incoming responses needs structure without writing custom code. The workflow fires on form trigger — candidate fills out the form, data lands in Google Sheets, and a Slack message goes out automatically. Deployed by importing the workflow JSON into any n8n instance (self-hosted or cloud).
