Hiring Pipeline is an n8n automation template for managing a recruitment funnel: collecting candidate applications and sending automated email status notifications. Reach for it when tracking applicants across inboxes and spreadsheets becomes unmanageable, when candidates aren't getting timely rejection or interview emails, or when a small HR team is running multiple open roles without a dedicated ATS. The template includes two linked workflows: the first (Ingestion) captures incoming applications, the second (Email Sender) dispatches status update emails automatically. Trigger: schedule. Integrations: Google Sheets for candidate data storage, Gmail for outbound emails, Google Calendar and Google Drive for scheduling and document management. The direction is outbound notifications and structured data collection within the Google ecosystem — not job board scraping or external sourcing.
