Workflow template is an n8n automation template that recovers abandoned carts in WooCommerce: GPT-4.1-mini writes a personalised recovery email for each shopper, sends it via Gmail, and posts a notification to a Slack channel. Reach for it when customers leave items in their carts and there is no bandwidth to follow up manually, when generic blast emails are not converting and the team wants AI-written personalised messages, or when the support channel needs real-time visibility into every recovery attempt. Trigger: WooCommerce abandoned-cart event. Integrations: WooCommerce, OpenAI GPT-4.1-mini, Gmail, Slack. The workflow is imported as a JSON file into any n8n instance — cloud or self-hosted — and requires active credentials for all four services plus an OpenAI API key. Direction is outbound: the template reacts to a shop event and reaches out to the buyer, not the other way around. Works for WooCommerce stores; not suitable for other e-commerce platforms or setups that require a custom SMTP sender instead of Gmail.
