design

canvas-design is a Claude Code skill that generates original visual art and posters in .png and .pdf formats by building and then expressing a bespoke design philosophy. The process runs in two steps: first, Claude authors an aesthetic movement complete with a named direction and a 4–6 paragraph manifesto covering form, space, color, composition, scale, and rhythm saved as a .md file; then it renders that philosophy as a canvas artifact where 90% of the communication is purely visual and text appears only as a spare graphic accent. Every compositional choice—chromatic calibration, spatial tension, typographic weight—is framed as the product of painstaking, master-level craftsmanship. The skill is built for graphic design tasks such as artistic posters, brand visuals, and any static design piece that requires genuine creative direction rather than template-filling, always producing original work to avoid copyright issues.
