Codex plugin is a plugin for Claude Code that runs OpenAI Codex from inside Claude Code, so you can review code before committing or hand a task to Codex. Commands: /codex:review does a normal review of uncommitted changes or a branch (--base main), /codex:adversarial-review challenges the chosen design and takes extra focus text such as looking for race conditions, /codex:rescue hands Codex a bug hunt or a fix, /codex:transfer moves the session into Codex, and /codex:status, /codex:result and /codex:cancel manage background jobs. Reviews are read-only and change nothing. Install with /plugin marketplace add openai/codex-plugin-cc, then /plugin install codex@openai-codex and /codex:setup. You need a ChatGPT subscription (Free works) or an OpenAI API key, plus Node.js 18.18 or later; usage counts toward Codex limits. An optional review gate exists but can drain limits quickly. It suits anyone who wants a second opinion before shipping.
