Cut as Code is a set of skills for Claude Code, Codex and OpenClaw that turns editing into an inspectable process made of readable files. The agent proposes decisions and records them, you review browser pages and template galleries, approve, and only then does rendering run. The entry skill cut-as-code recovers project state, and the others handle separate steps: video-understand (analyzing the footage), video-cut (keep or drop segments), video-color-grade (candidate looks and a baked LUT), video-add-b-roll (cutaways from your own media or Pexels, a key is needed), video-add-captions (word-timed captions with karaoke), video-add-content-cards (titles, lower thirds, quotes, calls to action), video-to-shorts (cutting vertical 9:16 shorts) and video-edit-compare. Everything runs locally, open source, MIT license.
