Requirements Interview Before Building

productivity

Requirements Interview Before Building is a Claude Code skill that finds out what a person actually wants rather than what they think they should ask for. Use it when a request is vague ("build me a dashboard", "make it faster" with no target) or when you ask to be interviewed or stress-tested. It comes before any plan, spec or code. The agent aims for about 95% confidence: it writes a hypothesis with a confidence number, asks one question at a time with its own guess attached, notices answers that echo convention or buzzwords and asks what you would want if you did not have to justify it. At the end it restates the intent as outcome, user, why now, success, constraint and out of scope, and waits for an explicit yes. The result can be saved to docs/intent. It needs a live user, not CI or autonomous loops.
