Local SEO Audit for Business Websites
seo
Local SEO Audit for Business Websites is a Claude Code skill that checks whether a local business website is ready to appear on maps and in local search. Use it when a clinic, restaurant, law firm or repair service is missing from the Google map pack, or for multi-location sites. It detects the business type (storefront, service area, hybrid) and the industry, then scores six areas: Google Business Profile signals, reviews, local on-page optimization, NAP consistency with citations, LocalBusiness schema, and local links. For chains it looks for doorway pages where only the city name is swapped. You get a file with a score out of 100, a profile checklist, ready-made markup and ten prioritized actions. Built around Google, Bing Places and Apple Maps with American directory examples (Yelp, BBB, Data Axle), it works mainly from website HTML; map rankings and profile audits belong to the neighbouring maps skill.
