Video Gen is a skill for Claude Code that acts as a director agent: it analyzes your photos and videos, comes up with an idea, designs a storyboard and carries out the edit. Python tools call generation APIs — Seedance 2, Kling v3, Kling v3 Omni and Veo3 for video, Suno V3.5 for music, Gemini TTS for voiceover and Gemini for images — while ffmpeg handles the editing: transitions, subtitles, color grading, speed changes and audio mixing. The skill refines the idea with interactive question cards; separate reference guides cover storyboard design, backend choice with reference-image strategy, and prompt rules for character consistency. API keys are set in config.json. The author recommends a multimodal model or an external vision model for frame analysis. Replies are in Chinese by default. No license is stated.
