Hypit is an open-source TypeScript tool that gives AI agents (Claude Code, Codex, and others) a language and system for video creation: it takes a viral reference clip and extracts its structure as an editable SVML workflow, then renders up to 100 variants in a single command. Reach for it when you need to mass-produce UGC ads for different audiences without manual editing, run A/B tests across video creatives at scale, or automate faceted copies of trending formats — cloning is just the fastest entry point; you can also start from a template or describe the video in plain words and let the agent write the workflow from scratch. Built as a TypeScript 5.9 monorepo with its own SVML markup language, headless Chromium rendering, ffmpeg, and WhisperX subtitle alignment; generation models are optional — captions, motion graphics, and code-rendered visuals can compile into a finished video without any external generation API. Install with npx skills add hypit-ai/hypit -g; requires Node.js 22.15+ and pnpm 10.33. Supports HypiHub hosted service, bring-your-own API keys, or local models. The tool is aimed at performance marketing and UGC production, not narrative or cinematic editing. Use only on authorized materials and with the consent of anyone depicted. Not suitable for complex storytelling or when external API access is unavailable.
