arcada is an open-source browser-based floor planner: drawing and editing room layouts without paper calculations. Reach for it to quickly sketch a layout — arrange furniture before a move, plan a renovation, show a client a placement, estimate equipment positioning in a space. You draw walls, rooms and objects by mouse right in the browser, and dimensions are computed for you. The difference from professional CAD is simplicity: no need to learn a heavy program for a simple plan, it is all done in minutes with no install. And from drawing on paper it offers precision and easy rearranging. It suits domestic and semi-professional planning: moves, renovations, organising space. For engineering drawings and construction documentation, dedicated systems are needed.
