AI meeting assistant with real-time transcription
★ 1.5K
call.md is an open-source Electron/TypeScript app that turns meetings into live agent loops — recording locally, transcribing in real time, and delivering AI intelligence before, during, and after every call. Reach for it when you want live suggestions on what to say or ask mid-call, when you need a structured summary with action items the moment a meeting ends, when you need to separate your voice from the other party's in the transcript, or when meeting outcomes should flow automatically into n8n, Zapier, or a CRM. The app captures dual-channel audio (mic vs system audio), tracks real-time conversation metrics (talk ratio, speaking pace, questions asked, monologue detection), auto-triggers MCP tools when it detects information needs during conversation, and exports full transcripts plus summaries to Markdown. Built on Electron 42, React 19, TypeScript 5.8, and Tailwind CSS; meeting history and transcripts are stored in a local SQLite database; transcription and AI features require internet access and a VideoDB API key (free tier available). The focus is live in-meeting intelligence, not just post-call transcription — for pure after-the-fact transcription, other tools in the catalog may be simpler. macOS 12+ (Apple Silicon and Intel) installs via a single curl command; Windows x64 is supported via source build; recording is not available on Linux or Windows ARM64.
